MESA GRADUATE SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY:

Middle East & South Asia Graduate School of Theology was inaugurated on March 21st by Most. Rev.Gunasekaran – Archbishop of Anglican Church of South India at SAIT Campus, Norton Bridge in the presence of Prof. Lakshman Madurasinghe, Dr.David Balasingh and Dr.Sam Thevabalasingham. This event was witnessed by a large number of parents and friends of Graduating students of SAIT.

The first modular course on Biblical Anthropology by Prof. Roland Kleger was held from March 23rd -27th . A total of 10 candidates who were accepted for MA /M Th programme from Nepal, North East India, East Bengal, Sri Lanka attended this course of study. The next modular will be in September 2015.

(1) 20th GRADUATION SERVICE

The Graduation Service/Ceremony of the South Asia Institute of Theology was held on 21st March 2015 at their campus, Norton Bridge. Prof.Lakshman Madurasinghe delivered the Baccalaureate Address. Prof. Roland Kleger offered a prayer for Graduating students which was followed by a message from Most.Rev. Gunasekeran Samuel- Archbishop of Anglican CSI, India. A total of 24 men and women completed their course of studies and obtained their certificates of merits. A total 12 men and women received Diploma in Biblical Studies; 9 received Diploma in Theology and 3 received Bachelor of Theology degrees.

(2) FELICITATION OF THREE LEADERS

At the Graduation Service of SAIT 3 Servants of God namely Rev.Selva Daniel –Retired Pastor of COG, Puwakpitiya; Pastor Athanesus Fernandopulle of Walk Through the Bible Ministry and Mr.Binush John – Founder/Director of Life Challenge from USA were felicitated for their life and ministry and also they were received as Fellows of the Institute of Theological Education (FITE).

(3) CONFERRED DOCTOR OF MINISTRY (D Min).

During the graduation Service of SAIT on 21st March 2015, Doctor of Ministry ( D Min) from St. Andrews Seminary was conferred on Dhannan Senathirajah by the Most.Rev.Gunasekeran Samuel, Archbishop of Anglican CSI, India.
